International doctoral research at the exciting interface of chemistry, physics and material science: this unique opportunity is offered to postgraduate researchers within the European Graduate College "Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials". Nine European network partners in Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and Spain offer this doctoral research exchange programme.

Boundless Material Sciences
A swedish student with an undergraduate degree from England studying for doctoral degree in Milan and researching for six months in Bochum: such academic careers are common in PCAM. At the very heart of this cooperation is the exchange of doctoral students for at least six months between these universities.
Doctoral students participating in PCAM work on molecular material sciences, such as self-organised nano-magnets, heterogeneous catalysis and the chemistry and physics of organic surfaces.
